The Aura Innovation Centre is one of the Humber’s premier business events venues, with a number of versatile spaces that are limited only by your imagination. We’ve hosted conferences, meetings, workshops, exhibitions, assessment centres, film premieres and more, with our light and airy spaces flexible enough to adapt to exactly what your event needs.
We won’t charge you extra for AV facilities, with use of screens, projectors and microphones all included, along with whiteboards and flipcharts. We can also accommodate hybrid meetings, if you have a mix of in-person and online attendees.
Recommended for large conferences, but with the added flexibility to be split into 3 individual spaces for smaller events or breakout areas. Seats up to 180 theatre style, or 130 cabaret style.
Recommended for networking events, exhibitions or conferences. Seats up to 120 theatre style, 80 cabaret style or 180 for informal networking.
Recommended for informal meetings, networking, drinks receptions, lunch or refreshments.

Recommended for meetings, presentations or small workshops. Capacity is 10, around a large table.
Our location is ideal for people travelling from out of town, as we’re just off the A63 near the Humber Bridge, with easy access from Hull, East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. With free parking, free use of EV charge points* and secure cycle storage, your guests will find it easy to get to your event.
The Aura Innovation Centre is based on Bridgehead Business Park, one of the UK’s greenest business parks, and we pride ourselves on being a sustainable events venue. We have solar panels on the roof to generate electricity, we use sustainable options for catering where possible, and when we’re not running events, we’re helping local companies make their businesses greener through access to the amazing facilities and expertise at the University of Hull.
When you book with us, one of our dedicated events team will help make sure your event runs smoothly, from advising you on event planning, rooms and layouts, to helping you with technology and AV support on the day. We can recommend caterers, create a digital sign-in station for your attendees, provide refreshments and even help you manage arrivals for your event – whatever it takes to give your guests the best experience.
Want your event to be a bit different? We’re happy to help! Our events spaces are really adaptable, and we enjoy experimenting with new concepts and formats. We love to try something new, and event organisers have really challenged us in the past – we’ve had rooms set up as virtual reality suites, a conference suite full of escape room-style challenges, furniture made out of hay bales, and even a full fire engine shoehorned into the building! We have step-free access into the building and there is access to our first floor conference suite by stairs or by lift. There are accessible toilets available on every level.

The Technology Demonstration Area or Conference Suite can be used to gather all your guests, with the other rooms used for breakout spaces or stands. The mezzanine is ideal for refreshments or networking.
Add on the Boardroom too, which makes a great green room or HQ for event organisers.
We can provide refreshments on the day – just ask when you send through your booking.
