With government funding having been announced to support the growth of emerging green industries, Humber Freeport are delighted to share with you their aspirations for the Humber Freeport Innovation Collective and want to hear from YOU on what you think works best when it comes to business support for innovation and future change. They want to know if they are focusing enough on responding to your real priorities and needs.

MEET THE SPEAKERS

Dafydd Williams, Head of Policy, Communications & Economic Development (Humber), Associated British Ports
Dafydd joined Associated British Ports in January 2017 as the Head of Policy, Communications & Economic Development for the Humber. He is responsible for all of ABP Humber’s external relations, policy developments, partnerships and manages many large projects and several regeneration schemes.

Katie Hedges, Director of Membership & Low Carbon Strategy, CATCH
Working for CATCH since its inception in 1999, Katie has been instrumental in leading cluster engagement, developing and managing CATCH’s suite of networks and grant funded programmes. Recently, Katie has secured £1.7million Innovate UK grant funding to develop the Humber Industrial Cluster Plan – in partnership with the HEY LEP and eight industrial partners.

William Izod, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), Pensana Plc
William Izod was appointed in October 2021 as a Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Pensana with an additional strong focus on developing relationships with off-take partners. He strongly supports the Group in its aim to become the world’s lowest carbon magnet metal producer.
