The Aura Innovation Centre is thrilled to have been named as a finalist in the Visit Hull and East Yorkshire REYTA awards in the Remarkable Business Events Venue of the Year category. This award recognises business event venues that continue to exceed expectations.
The Remarkable East Yorkshire Tourism Awards are organised by Visit Hull and East Yorkshire to recognise the significance of tourism to this area and celebrate the quality of businesses and individuals working within it. Winners will automatically be put forward for judging in the national Visit England Awards for Excellence.
The Aura Innovation Centre in Hessle is part of the University of Hull and boasts 7 modern, bright and airy meeting and conference spaces as well as a offering a varied programme of engaging events to support SMEs in shaping their low carbon ideas.
Events Lead, Joanne Clemenson said “We are so excited to have been shortlisted for this award. The building opened in 2020 but the events space has only been fully operational since mid-2021 following covid, so it is amazing to have been recognised. We have a fabulous space to work with but it is testament to the hard work and dedication of the whole Aura team in delivering high quality events”.
The Aura Innovation Centre is shortlisted alongside Connexin Arena, Hull, Bridlington Spa, Mercure Grange Hotel, Willerby and The Manor Rooms at Drewtons. The winner will be announced at a glittering awards ceremony at DoubleTree by Hilton Hull on 9th November 2023.
