June 2022 saw the Aura Innovation Centre host an international trade mission about offshore wind, organised by the Department of International Trade.
Representatives from around the world, including the Caribbean, USA, Norway, Brazil and Germany, networked with UK businesses and found out how the Humber has become a success story for the offshore wind sector.
As well as presentations by Ørsted about their activities in the Humber, delegates got to find out how Aura, the Aura Innovation Centre and ergo have been developed, with some interesting advice for countries just starting out on their offshore wind journey.
It was fantastic to see so many people around the world who are enthusiastic about developing renewable energy, and we look forward to hearing more about future successes.
